Last month we gave you Goal Setting Skills for High School Students and today we are rolling out an assurance plan to achieve those goals through Goal Management Skills for High School Students.
It has been clear in the three years work we have been doing that youths need the skills to set goals but they are eager to have management skills. Personal Management skills to develop their personalities, academic grades, goals and plans in life. They need the extra hand that is further than motivational but a pragmatic teaching on how to develop and nurture themselves.
Goal Management Skills for High School Students comes as a second training module after Goal Setting Skills for High School Students and with it goals are fully realized. This sustainable move to engage youths we believe is the best in character development compared to bombarding young people over a one day training session. Careers Zimbabwe believes that a career is a journey which needs continuous assistance and management which Goal Management Skills Handbook will be doing.
Our work is based on re-imagining and rethinking the Zimbabwean educational sector through skills development of young people. Most importantly giving them an extra cue to adopt and adapt to the fast changing social, economic, political and technological terrain that everyday gives them opportunities and challenges for career enhancement.
